Welcome

This course is designed to guide you into a deeper understanding of your pelvic floor—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

We’ll approach this like building a map: starting with a wide lens and gradually zooming in. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into anatomy, function, and your lived experience. This isn’t just about knowledge—it’s about relationship.

Key Themes for the Journey Ahead

Courage & Curiosity

Learning about your body—especially parts that carry stigma or silence—takes bravery. This course invites you to meet yourself with compassion and curiosity as you explore new terrain.

Healing Through Knowledge + Lived Experience

True healing doesn’t come from information alone. It’s found where knowledge meets experience and where past beliefs are gently questioned. As you explore your pelvic floor, you may shed old narratives and reclaim deeper agency in your body.

Permission to Explore

There’s no rush and no “right way” to move through this course. You’re invited to move at your own pace, honor your story, and welcome whatever emotions arise. This is a space of permission—not pressure.

What Is the Pelvic Floor?

The pelvic floor is a dynamic, intelligent system of muscles—16 internal muscles, connected to more than 36 external ones. This network supports nearly every function of your core and plays a key role in your overall well-being.

Core Functions Include:

  • Supporting organs like the bladder, uterus, and rectum

  • Preventing or addressing urinary + fecal incontinence

  • Enhancing sexual function and sensation

  • Providing postural and spinal stability

  • Supporting childbirth and postpartum recovery

  • Aiding blood flow, lymphatic flow, and circulatory health

  • Supporting core integration and breath mechanics

How This Course Is Structured

This course is designed to meet you where you are—whether you’re short on time, rebuilding trust with your body, or seeking more understanding.

Each chapter includes:

Lesson 1: Education Foundation
A 12-minute video to introduce the week’s theme. Watch while sipping tea, walking, or curled up on the couch. This is your anchor for the week.

Lessons 2–4: Hands-On Exploration
Three short practices (8–12 minutes) to help you apply what you’ve learned through movement, breath, and body awareness.

Lesson 5: Heart Work + Reflection
A space to pause, reflect, and go deeper. You’ll receive prompts to help integrate the week’s insights—emotionally, physically, and energetically.

Pro tip: At the beginning of the week, look at your calendar and plan 30-minute windows for your lessons. A little intention goes a long way.

Why This Work Matters

If healing your pelvic floor was as simple as a hamstring stretch, you wouldn’t be here.

This work is layered. It’s about returning to your body—not with judgment or urgency, but with reverence, playfulness, and presence. It’s about showing up consistently, even for 10 minutes a day, and saying: I’m worth the effort.

Let’s Ride the Wave Together

This is more than a course. It’s a devotion—a promise to listen inward, honor your body, and lead with love.

Let it be messy. Let it be joyful. Let it surprise you. You don’t have to be perfect—you just have to begin.

I’ll be with you every step of the way.

As your guide, I bring over a decade of experience as a yoga teacher, strength coach, and women’s health educator. I’ve walked this path myself—through motherhood, injury, self-doubt, and healing—and I created this course to meet you exactly where you are.

My approach is rooted in science and somatics, but also in softness, play, and the belief that your body is wise and worthy of trust.

You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.

With Love,
